Hi everyone,
1. Attached is a table showing all Peter-McGill candidates' names, the party with which they are affiliated (columns) and the positions they are running for (rows). Geraldine Stringer says there will be 12 candidates attending our Meet the Candidates Night, this Thursday, October 27, from 7pm to 9pm at the Atwater Library and Computer Centre (1200 Atwater, Tupper Street entrance, go up to the auditorium.) Please plan on attending and asking questions - we would like to see a good turnout. (And Jean-Pierre Pelletier will make sure the candidates keep to their time limits so there will be lots of time for your questions.)
2. As part of an ongoing effort to make our neighbourhood more family and child-friendly, Hallowe'en activities are being planned for children in the neighbourhood for October 31st, including supervised trick-or-treating along Seymour, Baile and Tupper streets. If you live on those streets, it would be great if you could decorate your houses and stock a few treats for the children. This is a collaboration among Table d'interaction Peter-McGill, Eco-Quartier Peter McGill, and the SVA (thanks to Claire Adamson and Marie-Claude Petit for their involvement). Also, if you have a few hours to donate, Eco-Quartier could use your help:
"We are building the sets and equipment for the Halloween activity on Cabot Square that will be held in partnership with the Peter-McGill Community Council on October 31st.
We need volunteer help to build these sets during the preceding week, that is between October 24 to 28, at the Éco-quartier office (1414 Pierce). If you are available, even for an hour or two, please let us know.

Nous sommes a préparer les décors et le matériel qui servira à notre fête d'Halloween dans le Square Cabot en collaboration avec la table Interaction du quartier Peter-McGill, le 31 octobre prochain.
Nous aurions besoin d'aide bénévole pour fabriquer les décors au cours de la semaine qui précède l'événement, c'est-à-dire du 24 au 28 octobre dans le local Éco-quartier (1414 rue Pierce). Si vous avez des disponibilités, même pendant une ou deux heures, contactez-nous.
