Hi everyone,
1. A reminder about the family Hallowe'en events at Cabot Square tomorrow (Monday, October 31, beginning at 2pm - call Eco-Quartier at 933-1069 for the complete schedule). One of the activities is a guided trick-or-treat of Seymour, Baile and Tupper Streets, beginning at 6:30 pm. The SVA's Marie Claude Petit, one of the organizers of the event, has asked me to ask if any of you could volunteer to lead the trick-or-treaters -- so if any of you are brave enough to lead the little ghosts and goblins, please contact Robin Tivy, sur son cellulaire au (514) 574-8489.
"Il y aura une cueillette de bonbons dans les rues du Village (ex.: Seymour, Tupper et
Baile). Le départ du Square avec les enfants est prévu pour 18h30.
Cette cueillette est sensée être guidée. À l'heure actuelle, personne ne
s'est encore suggéré pour être à la tête de la petite bande déguisée.
Par conséquent, nous nous demandons si un parent/membre du Village aimerait se
porter volontaire pour l'occasion?

2. We hope to see a good turnout at our Annual General Meeting and Cocktail Party. It is scheduled for this coming Thursday, November 3, beginning at 7pm, in the auditorium of the Atwater Library and Computer Centre (1200 Atwater, but take the Tupper Street entrance). This is the one event of the year where the SVA provides the food and drink - so all you have to bring is yourself and your concerns. I look forward to seeing you there!
