Every year, winter weary Montrealers come alive when Spring is in the air and party with the longest continuing St. Patrick’s Day parade in North America. And here in Shaughnessy Village, the annual SVA St. Patrict’s Day Brunch and Charity Auction is always a much anticipated affair. We come together to celebrate and raise money for those in our community less fortunate than us.
This year’s event was a resounding success and the auction raised a whopping $2851...up $500 on last year!... for our three supported charities; Chez Doris, Open Door and Narareth House.
Congratulations go to the usual suspects, from left, Geraldine Stringer, Roger Peace, Carmel Chiacchiarello and Marilyn Ambroziac for dedicating their time and organizational talents in making this such a successful event. Thanks also to Claire Adamson and Una Kay for their contributions.
