Under the direction of Sharman Yarnell the Shaughnessy Village English Tea Party, that was auctioned off at the last St Pat’s Brunch, went off with out a hitch – under a blue
summer sky the elegantly dressed gathering looked splendid all in their various hats –
punch served by Marcel from the Alphenhaus started off the afternoon followed by many assorted sandwiches, scones with raspberry jam, various cakes, biscuits, strawberries and cream, an English Trifle and of course lots of tea. All the of which were typically English.
